Miss TG Brighton Is Back Bigger And Better For Its Fourth Annual Event

At Paganini Ballroom, Old Ship Hotel, Brighton, Tuesday 2 October, 2007

Miss TG Brighton (http://www.misstg.co.uk), an annual beauty pageant and the largest transgender event on the south coast’s calendar, is taking place on Tuesday 2 October, 2007, at the Paganini Ballroom, Old Ship Hotel, Brighton. Themed this year as ‘James Bond 007 Casino Royale and a Licence to Thrill’, the event will raise thousands of pounds for local charities. Guest of honour is the Mayor of Brighton, Councillor Carol Theobald – a former winner of the ‘mainstream’ (female) Miss Brighton. Read more here >>

St John Ambulance Kept Revellers Safe at Pride

The Laramie Project: Hate Crime & Homophobia Dissected @ Malborough Theatre

Tuesday 18th – Saturday 22nd September, 8pm

On Wednesday, October 7, 1998, Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old gay college student at the University of Wyoming, was found lashed to a fence in the hills outside Laramie. He had been pistol-whipped, beaten and left barely breathing. Read more here >>
